Dream Convertible

Sudden fascination with Murphy beds has led me to this post. I really want to move to New York if you didn’t already read that sentence a billion times in this blog. While thinking about the unbearable cost for the tiniest of spaces, I was brain storming creative ways to make a small space comfortable to live in. The Murphy bed is a decent solution for space but sometimes impractical function wise so I searched for something more and found some awesome options from a U.K. site http://www.clei.co.uk My first question of course was how do I make one myself?

This is one of my two favorites. A modern designed couch with a shelf that easily turns into a bed and utilizes space.

It even has storage inside of the couch.

I love how they got that the shelf would be impractical if the items on it would have to be removed when the bed was put down, so they made it move with the bed. Smart!

I also love the modern simplistic style of this one.

This post is looking completely orange and white o.O hahaha

No storage buttttt relaxation time! Good trade off I believe.

Now to find a good tutorial on how to make a Murphy Bed Instructables possibly? I’ve made a couch before so hopefully its not too crazy to figure out I won’t need it for a while any how.

About Candy Kisses

I'm an aspiring designer who one day wishes to move to New York and make it big! As of now I work at a restaurant near my apartment in pittsburgh to make ends meet while running a small business called Candy Kiss Couture, on etsy consisting of my designs, and crafts at www.candykisscouture.etsy.com. I love all things beauty, fashion, and glamour as well as all things Art ^.^ Also an interesting tid bit about myself: I love to play dress up, cause I'll never be too old for that! I am fascinated by glitter, shiny things, lace, neon colors, pastel colors, alright colors in general. I guess that's more than enough about me we'll get to know each other as I blog. Thanks for checking my page out.
